Tommy Gemmell

1943 — 2017

An outstanding example of the modern attacking full back Tommy Gemmell is remembered for his powerful long range shots and for the fact that he has scored goals in two European Cup finals. Gemmell has a large and impressive medal haul to his name. He was a European Cup winner in 1967 and a finalist in 1970, a Scottish League champion in 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970 and 1971, and a Scottish Cup winner in 1965, 1967 and 1969.

He also won the Scottish League Cup in 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1974 and won 18 caps for Scotland.
