John Robertson

1953 —

John Robertson was a key player in Forest’s success during the late 1970s and early 1980s. His excellent attacking qualities earned him 28 caps for Scotland and Robertson scored eight times for his country. With Forest he won the European Cup in 1979 and 1980, the Football League in 1978 and the Football League Cup in 1978 and 1979. Robertson scored the only goal of the game for Nottingham Forest against Hamburg in the 1980 European Cup Final.
